Tying Up Loose Ends

1. Did you think that this quote, "You conned me...Henrik is an old shark. He was telling me what I wanted to hear" (516). Do you think it was fair for Venger to do this? Personally, I think that although Henrik did not expect the Blomkvist to have solved the Harriet case, he still should not have given him worthless information that happened thirty plus years ago.

2. In your own opinion, do you think that the Venger family was as bad as Henrik described them to be when he accused his family of killing Harriet? (92).

3. Do you think the last scene, where Salander spots Blomkvist and Berger together, killed all the trust and feelings that she build up for him throughout the course of the novel? Personally, I think the last scene did have a big effect on Salander and Blomkvists's relationship. She probably thought she got her hopes up for nothing.

Movie Thread: Only those who have seen the new movie!

You guys fail. I trusted a few key of you to set up the movie thing and you failed utterly. I probably should have been more proactive but alas I fail too. You all can watch whenever you want because I had to see it with my family in order to bond with them. Anyway possibility still exists for pizza/movie swedish movie.
